An evergreen tree; moderate to fast growth to 25- 30 feet in height with a greater spread; can be kept smaller with pruning. Upright to wide spreading growth habit.
Produces, medium sized, lumpy skinned, purple-black fruit with a creamy, nutty flavor. Produces 2 distinct crops a year. The spring flowers produce the main crop while the mid-late summer flowers mature a small crop in late winter. Similar to Hass Avocado but produces smaller 6-14 oz. fruit.
Self-fertile; however, best fruit set when planted with a “Type B” variety.
